The CAIRS indicator reports are presented by program type and the program unit where services are provided. No individual client level data are available in this portal. Data for children who were admitted to the select programs from 2002 to the current period are included.
The indicators included in these reports are required data elements on admission and discharge for youth receiving care. However, not all of the program types included in these reports use the CAIRS system to record their youth and family services information. For most program types the quality of data reporting has improved over time. This improvement is related to program monitoring and, in some cases, financial linkages to reporting in CAIRS.
Data in these reports are updated regularly and include the current calendar year. Reports for the current calendar year will not be complete in terms of number of admission and discharges until the end of the year. Program level graphs may appear more variable in comparison to statewide program type level graphs due to calculations based on small numbers. Indicator (pdf)
